The Conair Infiniti Pro is one of the most popular blow dryers on a budget. It is cheap, but long lasting, it packs 1875W of power and has an AC motor. It dries your hair really fast and has all the basic settings you need. On the downside, it is a pretty noisy hair dryer and it is quite heavy.
Conair Corporation manufactures personal care & health and beauty products and other small appliances. The company was founded in 1959 and it is based in the US. It owns several brands, such as Rusk, Cuisinart, Allegro and others.
The Infiniti Pro Salon Performance is one of their best-selling blow dryers. In spite of its name, it is not exactly a high-end item but a good value for the money. The hair-dryer can be purchased for less than $35.
It comes in several available colors: pink ombre, burgundy, orange, aqua. The orange version is approx. $10 cheaper than the others.

The Infiniti Pro is a good looking blow dryer, but it is quite heavy and also loud (around 94 dB). It doesn’t have a foldable handle, so it is not the best option if you travel a lot. Other than that, it has an ergonomic design, it is comfortable to hold and also has a hang ring for storage. The 1875W are more than sufficient in terms of power.
The dryer uses ionic technology, which reduces frizz with 75% and ceramic technology, which protects the hair from damage due to excessive heat.
The Conair Infiniti Pro has two speed settings (high and low) and three heat levels: cool, warm and hot. In addition to these options there’s a true cold shot button which is useful for styling up your curls/waves. The Infiniti Pro dryer has both a concentrator and a diffuser attachment, so you can create a variety of hair styles. The dryer has a removable vent that allow you to remove the dust gathered in the air vent.
One of the strengths of the Infiniti Pro is its AC motor which has a longer lifespan (up to three times) than DC motors and it is also 50% faster when it comes to drying your hair. The Infiniti Pro proved to be fast indeed during our tests, so this is definitely a thumbs up for this dryer.
Another thing you should know about the Infiniti Pro is that it doesn’t get as hot as some other dryers, which can be a good thing for some people but maybe bad for others. We found the highest temperature this dryer can reach to be more than enough, because any hotter and you’d only fry and damage your hair, but some people might like it even hotter.
Overall we think this is a good hair dryer on a budget. It is not spectacular, but it is really affordable and does a good job. It is a bit too heavy so you might end up working up your muscles with it and it is louder than average, but these shouldn’t be deal breakers. Other than that, this is a powerful and fast blow dryer.
