PROS:
CONS:
Inteligator is an online background check and searching service. The company boasts on over 178 million searches and counting. It claims to give access to more than 2 billion records that cover all 50 states and that their data covers 95% of US adult population.
Inteligator provides several types of checks and searches: background, criminal background/arrests, marriages/divorces, legal documents, court records, contact information, reverse phone search, neighborhood, sex offenders, reverse email search and others.
The registration process requires you to be at least 18 years old.
Once you login, you have unlimited access to their extensive database and you can perform unlimited searches. Their database includes thousands of county court records, more than 35 years of address histories from over 1,000 sources, sex offenders’ records, state prison data and so on. The reports generated by Inteligator include the name, address history, phone numbers, relatives, neighbors, associates, birth and death records, property records, bankruptcies and many more. You also get possible matches in a preview, just like with other such services.
Although they seem to provide generous and comprehensive information, oftentimes though, the data is not accurate and correct. In some of the test searches we’ve performed, information such as social profiles, relatives, email addresses were incorrect.
One useful feature offered by Inteligator is their assisted search. If you have trouble finding someone on your own, you can send a message to their support team, via their contact form and they will offer their assistance.
You can also access your reports anytime you want, if you look for them under search history.
As we already mentioned, you can also perform reverse email address or reverse phone searches, if you are harassed by certain numbers or emails, or you just want to know who is behind them.
One other thing you should keep in mind is the fact that this service doesn’t provide hard copies. All the results are displayed electronically. If you want, you can download or print the reports yourself.
In terms of security, Inteligator uses SSL security and you can also choose to keep your information from appearing in their searches. They also claim that your searches are 100% secure and anonymous.
You can sign up for their Basic or Advanced plan and each of them comes with a 3, 4, 7 or 14 day trial. Their fees are either one-time fees or based on a monthly or yearly subscription.
You can opt for their 4 day trial, for just $1/day. A monthly subscription will cost you $19,95.
Inteligator can only be contacted through their phone number, which is listed on top of the page, on their website, or via their contact form. The website is not too useful and a lot of information is not visible on the website.
