The Patricia sofa is not a high-end piece of furniture. It is not the most elegant sofa out there, nor is it covered in leather or other type of fancy fabric. It is an average, standard sofa, for everyday use, but it is comfortable, good looking and most importantly, affordable.
Color-wise, you can find it in dark gray or dark brown. It has a microfiber/microsuede upholstery, plastic legs and Velcro in the back. The cushions are not detachable.
The sofa doesn’t come assembled but putting it together is a 20 minutes job, tops! You just slide and lock every piece in its place and you are done, without needing any kind of special tools. The only parts that need to actually be screwed in are the legs, but even with them, it’s an easy job.
The cushions are on the firm side, although they are not so hard as to feel uncomfortable. If you add a pillow or two, you’ll find it really cozy. Besides, the cushion will soften overtime. On the other hand, the fabric is really soft and it also looks good. The sofa is really supportive for the back and helps you maintain a good posture.
Although the specifications claim that the Patricia sofa can handle up to 900 pounds, you’d be advised not to push it to those limits. Also, do remind that the legs are made of plastic. Overall, the Charlton Home Patricia doesn’t feel as solid as other sofas.
The Charlton Home Patricia is without a doubt a budget sofa, but the fact that it is affordable, good for smaller apartments/places and attractive, makes it a good value for the money.
