The Sunpentown AB-753 is a Taiwanese foot massager that uses a combination of infrared, magnetism and vibration. It comes at a decent price and has several useful features and settings, including a timer, 12 intensity levels, 8 infrared treatments and a remote control.
Sunpentown is a company based in Taiwan and founded in 1985. In addition to foot massagers, it also manufactures other home appliances and kitchen items.
The AB-753 is an infrared foot massager with lots of treatment options and intensity settings. It is affordable and has the following specifications:
Design
The AB-753 comes in blue, it is made of plastic and its controls are on the front, at the top. It doesn’t have the most attractive design and the plastic body doesn’t look that durable or premium. Although it is easiest to use for your feet, the company claims it can be used for other parts of your body, too. However, at 11 lbs. we think it’s a bit heavy and uncomfortable to massage anything else than your feet with it.
The controls on the massager include the Power button, the Timer, Up and Down arrows for Speed adjustment, an Infrared button and Calorie Reset button. There is also a little display for Calories and LED indicators for the timer (5, 10 and 15 minutes), for the Power and Auto and Manual modes.
The AB-753 is designed in such a way that it massages your acupuncture points, which is helpful in improving your blood circulation and unblocking vessels. The massager is also supposed to strengthen your overall immunity.
The Sunpentown AB-753 comes with a small remote control, with just a few buttons on it. You’ve got the Power button, Infrared button and 2 buttons to control the speed.
Features
One useful feature on the Sunpentown AB-753 is the timer that allows you to set the duration of the massage session, with a maximum of 15 minutes/session. After 15 minutes, the unit shuts down by itself. You can also use it for just 5 or 10 minutes.
The AB-753 works by combining vibration with magnetism and heat. The vibration feature makes the device quite noisy, so if that is a problem with you, you should be aware of that.
As we’ve already mentioned it, the Sunpentown has 8 infrared treatments to choose from and 12 intensity levels for vibration.
The AB-753 is a good value for the money. It is not the most affordable massager out there, but not among the most expensive either and for the $90 you get a lot of useful features: a timer, vibration, infrared, magnetism, several settings and the remote control.
