PROS:
CONS:
The WT7500CW is a big top-loader, with a capacity of 5.2 cu. ft. It does a great job in cleaning your clothes, it has a large number of washing programs and features.
The LG WT7500CW is a top-load washing machine with a large capacity and several useful features. It is suited for people who have big loads of laundry.
This is not the smartest model from LG, it doesn’t have WiFi, but if you have a large family that produces mountains of laundry, the WT7500CW is definitely worth to consider.
Here are the main specs of the WT7500CW:
Design
The WT7500CW is only available in white. It has a large NeveRust stainless steel drum and the lid is made of transparent glass, so you can watch your laundry getting washed, if you want to. The control panel is located on top and the controls are touch sensitive. It also has 4 adjustable legs.
The washer is quite deep and some people might find it difficult to reach all the way to the bottom to take all the clothes out.
On the control panel on top you have the big rotating knob in the middle, which selects the wash program, the start button to its right and a dual LCD display on the right side, with settings for the temperature, soil, spin speed, delay wash, extra rinse, TurboWash, cold wash and more.
The WT7500CW has a 3-tray dispenser, for your main wash, fabric softener and liquid bleach.
Features and performance
When it comes to washing cycles, the WT7500CW is very generous. It has several programs to choose from: prewash + normal, cotton/normal, tub clean, bulky/bedding, heavy duty, speed wash, delicates, bright whites, towels, oxi-sanitize, waterproof, downloaded (you can download wash cycles).
The washer has 3 soil levels, 5 spin speeds (no spin, low, medium, high and extra high). The highest spin speed is 950 rpm.
As far as the temperature goes, you can choose between tap cold, cold, warm, hot and extra hot.
When it comes to the performance of the WT7500CW, the washer does a good job in washing your laundry and can get out all the usual stains, including red wine. However, the WT7500CW doesn’t have an internal water heater, so it might struggle with different stains such as oil stains. Your laundry might also get a little wrinkly after washing it with the WT7500CW.
The TurboWash feature of the WT7500CW allows you to do a load in only 30 minutes, if the load doesn’t weigh more than 8 pounds.
Another useful feature is the Water Plus, which adds up to 20% more water to any of your washing cycles, except Bedding.
You’ve also got Child Lock, Delay Wash, Cold Wash and more. The washer also plays a tune when a wshing cycle is completed.
The WT7500CW is pretty quiet. LG boasts on implementing their LoDecibel Quiet Operation technology on the WT7500CW. It also uses SmartDiagnosis and NFC tag on.
One drawback of the WT7500CW is the fact that is not exactly efficient when it comes to water consumption, in spite of the fact that it is Energy Star Qualified. Even if you use the washer without the Water Plus function, it still has a big water consumption.
The WT7500CW is a good mid-range washer, with a large capacity and numerous washing cycles. It does a vey good job in cleaning your laundry, it has several useful functions, it is quiet and user-friendly.
The WT7500CW can be purchased for approximately $1,050. The washer comes with a 10-year warranty on the inverter direct drive motor and a 1-year limited warranty (parts and labor).
