PROS:
CONS:
The Samsung WF7500 is a smart and efficient front-loading washing machine. It is not the most affordable option out there, but it does include a lot of useful features, 14 wash cycles, a Super Speed function and a lot of other useful options. It has WiFi connectivity and you can monitor it through the smartphone app. It is very spacious and has a great cleaning performance.
Samsung has always been among the best rated brands when it comes to home appliances. Their washing machines make no difference.
The Samsung AddWash WF7500 is one of their best-selling models. It is a front-loader with a capacity of 5.0 cu. ft. It comes in two colors: black stainless steel and white.
Here are the main specifications:

This Samsung AddWash has a very futuristic design. It has a modern, stylish look and smart features. It is quite large and roomy, with its 5 cu. ft. capacity, so it is perfect for larger families who produce a lot of laundry. The generous capacity also helps you do fewer cycles, since you can fit up to 2-3 laundry bins in it at once.
The AddWash name comes from its special feature: a smaller, second door on the front, which allows you to throw in additional laundry that you forgot to load initially in the washer. However, this door is pretty useless, because you can’t just open it at any time and toss in an extra sock. You have to pause the wash cycle first and then you can access it, which doesn’t make it that special, since you can just as well use the larger door instead. Samsung defends its product by explaining that the smaller door is easier to access, which in their defense, could be a good point, because even after you pause a washer and try to open the door, it may take up to minutes to unlock.
Regardless of the AddWash function, we consider this washer to be a valuable product, with a variety of other smart, important features.
One of them is the smart control and WiFi connectivity. Yes, just like with any other smart device in your household, you can also monitor this washer on your smartphone, using the Samsung Smart Home App, which is compatible with both Android and iOS. You can receive alerts and know when a wash cycle is done, etc. You can also use the Smart Care app for any issues you might stumble upon and speed the process of getting them fixed, without having to directly contact customer service.
Features
On to the features of the Samsung AddWash washer, you’ve got 14 cycles: normal, heavy duty, bedding, whites, sanitize, allergen, rinse + spin, deep steam, eco cold, quick wash, perm press, wool, delicates and active wear. There’s also the Super Speed feature which can help you do a cycle in just 30 minutes.
This Samsung AddWash has an internal water heater, five temperature setting options, child lock, self clean+, steam washing, pre wash, extra spin, extra rinse, delay end and the option to turn the sound on or off.
Consumption wise, the Samsung washer is Energy Star certified and also has a 55 minute Eco Cold Wash mode.
For more meticulous tasks such as getting out stains, you can use the longer, Heavy Duty cycle, which lasts for one hour and forty minutes but does a more thorough cleaning than the Normal cycle.
If you want to get the excess water out of your laundry you can use the Extra Spin option, which will significantly reduce the time your clothes have to spend in the dryer, after they’re washed.
Another feature that Samsung really boasts on is their PowerFoam technology that ‘uses an innovative mixture of water, air and detergent to penetrate deep into the heart of fabric’, to quote them accurately. This technology ensures a deeper cleaning of your laundry, no matter how bulky.
Now on the downsides, one thing we found a bit frustrating with this washing machine was its touch screen which was not that responsive and gave us a hard time a couple of times, when we tried to access certain settings.
Last but not least, we have to mention the noise level of the Samsung WF7500. We didn’t really find the VRT Plus technology to be that efficient, or maybe our expectations may have been too high, after reading the description. We found the washer to be quite loud. Not ‘deal breaker’ loud, but definitely not as quiet as we thought it would be.
Overall though, we consider the Samsung WF7500 a really valuable front-load washer: it has an attractive design, it is loaded with smart features and most importantly, does a good job at cleaning your laundry, fast and thoroughly.
On Amazon you can purchase the Samsung AddWash 27” 5.0 cu. ft. washing machine for $1,900. The washer comes with one year all parts and labor warranty.
